Book as far ahead as the system allows. Reservations open on a rolling window and are taken quickly, particularly for spring and October.
Try off-peak. Early seatings and mid-week are consistently easier than a Saturday at 7pm.
Use the takeout option. Pre-ordered takeout is typically available Tuesday to Saturday from around 3pm. Sedona has plenty of good places to eat outdoors with a view, so takeout plus a red rock overlook is a genuinely fine plan B.
Don't just turn up. The no-walk-ins policy is real, and a queue doesn't form because there's no point.
It's on Jordan Road in Uptown, near the free all-day city lot — so parking, at least, is easy.
